It Is Not Magic!

I've said this many times before : malaysians are fucking stupid.
When doctors fails to tell exactly what's wrong with the patient our scientifically-illiterate people will say it's busung, santau, disampuk or telur layang.
When scientists say they do not know how primitive egyptians built the gigantic pyramids as early as 2630 BC, again, our scientifically-illiterate people say alien did it, magic people did it da da da.
When scientists can't find MH370 aeroplane our scientifically-illiterate people theorised that it has been abducted by aliens, abducted by Dajal Mata Satu in Bermuda Triangle and abducted by bunian (no, i'm not making this up. Our professor fb did say these.)
Well, let me tell you something. Just because the scientific community can't tell you conclusively what's the cause and effect of something doesn't means ''it's magic''. Science does not know everything but if you give scientists some time, I am very sure indeed that your questions will be answered satisfactorily with peer-reviewed research, statistics and logical explanation.
A long time ago, our ancestors believed that epilepsy is a spiritual condition. The world's oldest description of an epileptic seizure comes from an Akkadian text written around 2000 BC. The person described in the text was diagnosed as being under the influence of a Moon god, and underwent an exorcism. Babylonians which had no biomedical understanding of the nature of disease, on the other hand, attributed the seizures to possession by evil spirits and called for treating the condition through spiritual means.
The ancient Greeks thought of epilepsy as a form of spiritual possession, but also associated the condition with genius and the divine. One of the names they gave to it was the sacred disease. Epilepsy appears within Greek mythology: it is associated with the Moon goddesses Selene and Artemis, who afflicted those who upset them. Finally, in Tanzania, as in other parts of Africa, epilepsy is associated with possession by evil spirits, witchcraft, or poisoning and is believed by many to be contagious.
But after many, many years of research we now knew that epilepsy has nothing to do with magic, evil, divine da da da. It is caused by many natural factors which inter alia are diet, diseases (such as Angelman syndrome and Arteriovenous malformation), side effect of certain drugs (such as Aminophylline, Bupivicaine and Bupropion), alcohol consumption, drug withdrawal, missed anticonvulsants, fever, lights, head injury, hypoglycemia (how blood sugar), menstrual cycle, sleep deprivation, parasites and stress.
You guys should stop thinking that if there is any flaw in science then your stupid magical fairytale is the only other possible truth. That's false dichotomy. Anyone with a rational mind don't think that way.
P.S. In the 21st century, being stupid is a choice.

  1. At the end, the scientists found something that more important than the things that they have searched..if you know what I mean~~this is based on my studies in modern physics...

Ps: you also a malaysian? Ain't you??
